Recently Elected MNAs Take Oath In The National Assembly's Inaugural Meeting

The sixteenth National Assembly  (NA) on Wednesday happened with the oath-taking of recently elected MNAs following the February 8 general elections

The oath to the recently elected MNAs was administered by Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. The house which was planned to occur at 10 AM, began after 11.

The NA meeting began with a commotion when the national anthem finished with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)- upheld legislators, who have joined the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), and lawmakers again started chanting slogans.

The party had already declared it would fight in the present meeting against the supposed gear done in the February 8 general elections. It was after an appeal by the speaker that the administrators settled down and the pledge was taken by every one of the legislators.

However, when the oath was administered the PTI - SIC administrators again began reciting trademarks.

Severe safety efforts have been set up in the Red Zone. The passage of vehicles without exceptional cards and stickers was not allowed to go into the Parliament House premises.

Following a back-and-war with the Middle, President Dr. Arif Alvi, at last, marked a synopsis, sent by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, to gather the  National Assembly's (NA) debut meeting today (Thursday).

In a statement issued from the President’s House, Dr. Arif Alvi also ‘expressed’ reservations over the “tone and allegations” in the caretaker summary forwarded by PM Anwaarul Kakar.

President Alvi marked the summary sent by the guardian government regardless of 'reservations'.

In an explanation given from the President's Home, Dr. Arif Alvi likewise 'communicated' reservations over the "tone and charges" in the guardian summary sent by PM Anwaarul Kakar.

Plan For PM's Election

According to the timetable, Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf would administer the oath to the recently elected legislators trailed by the election of the new speaker and deputy speaker.

For the previously mentioned sought-after established posts, hopeful applicants are expected to present their designation papers before 12pm today — with the voting set to be hung on Friday (tomorrow).

This would be trailed by the appointment of the prime minister, for which the candidates are expected to record their selection papers on Walk 3, while the election for the country's CEO would be held next week on March 4 (Monday).

Sources say that the recently elected prime minister is probably going to take an oath as the country's CEO around the same day.

Who is challenging the PM election?

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), which has the support of the Pakistan People Groups Party (PPP) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q), and others, has designated Shehbaz Sharif as its candidate for the top office.

In the meantime,  Ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan Imran Khan's party designated as its Prime Ministerial candidate the party secretary general Omar Ayub Khan, grandson of previous military despot Ayub Khan.

Omar Ayub Khan, 54, joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) before the 2018 general elections after losing the 2013 surveys as a candidate for the Pakistan Muslim League N (PML-N) from Haripur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
