Pakistani rupee on the way to stability, US dollar further cheap




Karachi: The US dollar depreciated further against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank and open market.

Since the beginning of the business day, the value of the US dollar has seen a decline and the US dollar has become cheaper by another rupee 5 paise in the inter-bank exchange.

The interbank exchange rate of the dollar is 288 rupees 75 paise, which closed at 289 rupees 80 paise yesterday.

In the open market, the US dollar has become cheaper by one rupee to Rs 290.

It should be noted that since the strict measures taken by the government to prevent dollar smuggling and reference handi, so far the interbank price of the dollar has decreased by more than 18 rupees from the highest level.
